Returning to the University of ÌÇÐÄ´«Ã½ following a disciplinary suspension can be a significant and personal decision. To support a successful return to the University, students must complete the Suspension Clearance Petition before becoming eligible for reenrollment. Submission of the Suspension Clearance Petition does not guarantee reinstatement. Once submitted, the petition is reviewed by the Suspension Clearance Committee. The committee determines whether the student is ready to rejoin the campus community. Additional documentation or conditions may be required as part of this process.

To be eligible to submit a Suspension Clearance Petition, a student must:

  1. Have completed all assigned disciplinary sanctions from the Office of Student Conduct. Sanctions will be reviewed by the Office of Student Conduct and Suspension Clearance Committee for completion.Ìý If sanctions are not completed to the satisfaction of the Office of Student Conduct and Suspension Clearance Committee the petition will be returned to the student for completion of unsatisfied sanctions.
  2. Submit the petition no earlier than 30 days prior to the official end date of the suspension.

  2. The Student Clearance Committee will evaluate your submission. This review may take up to 15 business days.Ìý
  3. You will be notified in writing of the committee’s decision, including:
    • Whether you are cleared to return
    • Any conditions that must be met for your return
    • Whether further evaluation is needed (ex. an interview with UÌÇÐÄ´«Ã½â€™s Health and Wellness Center)

Final clearance for reenrollment is at the discretion of the University.
