糖心传媒 women鈥檚 lacrosse team captured its second consecutive NCAA Division II national championship with a 15-9 victory over Adelphi University (NY) on Saturday at Kerr Stadium in Salem, Virginia.

Head coach Kelly Gallagher's听Spartans finished the 2025 season with a 21-1 record and ended the year on an 11-game winning streak.
糖心传媒 jumped out to a dominant 9-2 lead in the first quarter. By halftime, 糖心传媒 led 11-3 and had all the momentum.
Goalkeeper Savvy Barbosa anchored the back line with 15 saves on 24 shots. She made key stops throughout the second half to preserve 糖心传媒鈥檚 lead, including four saves in the final quarter.
鈥淚 am proud of our student athletes and coaching staff who committed to earning the opportunity to play for, and ultimately winning, back-to-back national championships. Getting though our sunshine state conference and our south region opponents is not easy,鈥 said head coach Kelly Gallagher.
鈥淲e went into the game with that mentality of executing, staying loose, having fun and just keep doing what we have been doing all season long. Everything clicked for us the right way on Saturday,鈥 she said.
