Limited Music scholarships are available to talented majors and non-majors recommended by the music faculty. Scholarships are renewable for up to four years (8 semesters). Music scholarships may be combined with other forms of financial aid, with some exceptions (for more information on the exceptions, see section in theÌýUÌÇÐÄ´«Ã½ catalogÌýon "Excessive Awards"). Qualifications:

  • New entering students (fall term entry only)
  • Must complete a music scholarship auditionÌýprior to admissionÌý

Audition Procedure:

  • Instrumentalists must complete a live on-campus audition or live virtual audition prior to admission.
  • Vocalists must complete a live on-campus audition, live virtual audition or recorded video audition prior to admission.

Consideration

Music scholarships are prioritized by declared major, skill level and instrument/voice type, in the following preferential order:

  1. Bachelor of Music in Music EducationÌý
  2. Bachelor of Music in PerformanceÌý
  3. Bachelor of Arts in MusicÌý
